Some helplines and centres offer information, others support and they are all confidential. Numbers which begin with 1800 are free from most phones (except mobiles).

Haven't got the guts to talk to someone in person? The great thing about a telephone helpline is you can stay anonymous and ask all the questions you may be afraid or embarrassed to ask face to face.
